Rhode Island Mandatory Regulations for ALL Golfers
In order to keep golf open in Rhode Island we were asked to further safety measures to ensure that the spread of COVID-19 becomes minimal. Please be patient with us as we are trying to accommodate all of you as well as adjust to the mandatory rules and regulations which are changing in phases. We appreciate your business and hope that you will have a good time out on the course social distancing with other fellow golfers as well as enjoy the fresh air and consider our TakeOut Food, Beer and Wine, Mixed Drinks, and Non-alcoholic Beverages.
Here are the latest regulations for Phase 1:
All previous guidelines are still in place.
Only Rhode Island residents and persons who are in this state for an extended stay and have completed 14 days of self-quarantining can play golf in Rhode Island. On June 1st, travel lifted with the exception of those states that still require stay home mandate.
All food and beverage must be TakeOut or Outdoor Dining until May 30th. Rudy’s Bar & Grille will be opening on June 2nd for Indoor Dining.
Beer, Bottles of Wine, Mixed Drinks, and assorted non-alcoholic beverages available for TakeOut.
Tee Time Policy is 10 minutes between groups.
Groups of players are restricted to no more than 4 players at one time.
Groups of five or more must not congregate anywhere on the property before or after playing according to the Governor’s Executive Order. As of June 1st, mandate lifted to 15 or less.
Practice Green and Driving Range will be open provided social distancing is in effect at all times. Putting and Chipping area is only allowed to have 5 persons at a time. Please adhere to the social distancing of at least 12 feet apart on the driving range and 6 feet apart on the Putting and Chipping Green. Phase 2, June 1st, allows 15 persons at a time.
Golf Carts and Pushcarts are available.
Parking lots must be monitored by the club to ensure that tailgating does not happen.
Flagsticks must remain in the hole. It is recommended that hole liners be raised or pool noodles be added to the stick so picking a ball out of the hole doesn’t occur.
Bunker rakes must be removed and ball washers must be removed or covered.
All golfers must use their own golf clubs. Sharing golf clubs or rental golf clubs are not allowed.
Golfers must stay in their car until five minutes before their tee time and go directly to the first tee
